Visitor Information and Marketing Services
The Washington County Tourism Commission informs prospective visitors to the county through our newsletter, website, brochure distribution, and through membership in various industry organizations and through their outreach publications. Our focus is to reach leisure travelers and prospective organizations interested in making Washington County their tourist and function destination.
WCTB has a working partnership with Southern Indiana Regional Marketing Cooperative (SIRMC) and Indiana Office of Tourism Development.
The Washington County Tourism Bureau would like to announce its excitement and commitment to the entire community as it undergoes an organizational and directional re-structuring. There are several new board members now serving on the bureau. The board now consists of:
Susan Lloyd, President
Jack D. Mahuron, Vice President
Byron Fagg, Secretary
Patty Colglazier, Treasurer
Tara Kritzer, Marketing Director
Danielle Walker, Board Member
Stephanie Vines, Board Member
Sue Bennett, Board Member
Laurie Jackson, Board Member
The Bureau is getting refocused on processes and goal orientation. The first priorities will be to redesign and distribute high quality brochures and make over the Tourism Bureau’s website; both will positively represent the many excellent tourism destinations in Washington County.
While the Tourism Bureau redefines itself into a more effective and dynamic organization we ask for your patience and understanding. The brochure and website will be the Bureau’s primary concerns in the immediate future and the Bureau will be hard pressed to support any other activities until those tasks are executed. Grants may currently be applied for by presenting a request in writing to the board.
Thank you for your continued support
